A Beacon allows you to set or move a location for drone deliveries were postcodes or ordinary addresses are useless.
For example outside a doctor’s surgery an ‘H’ plate can be put where the drone’s can put down the delivery with the ‘H’ plate’s location being identified by drone@@doctorx.
Equally you are having a picnic for a business client at a point to point and realise you have left behind the fizzy. In a minute or two you create a new beacon for your location (picnic@@samandsam), place your order and the drone does the rest.
